After locking me in as their Whidbey Island Engagement Photographer, I took Tanya and Andrew on a fun hike with gorgeous photos locations!
Tanya and Andrew found me while planning their awesome wedding (I also took their wedding pics) in Mount Vernon (Stepping Stones Garden). They heard about me through our friend group in the greater north Seattle area.
These two came to me as most people do—they told me “We’re not very photogenic.” So many people for whatever reason don’t love taking photos. I suppose it makes sense. Unless you are child model or actor, the only occasions you take photos for are family portraits, senior photos (high school), or your wedding. Even though (like going to the dentist), taking your photo can be intimidating for most, my goal is always to help people enjoy themselves and completely forget the camera is even there.
As you’ll see (scroll below), we had a blast enjoying a gorgeous hike along to Lighthouse Point (Bowman’s Bay Trail). Since there was absolutely no one on the trail, they did an outfit change behind a tree, and we continued on into sunset. Check out the incredible sunset photos towards the end of the shoot!
