Kevin and Claire’s Private Whidbey Island Wedding Photos were filled with heartfelt moments, a tree-planting ceremony, and posing pups! Their wedding was a true celebration of love and family. The ceremony took place on the bride’s mother’s property, surrounded by gorgeous open green fields with trees, making for a serene and intimate setting. As a photographer, I was incredibly honored to be a part of such a special day!
The ceremony itself was so thoughtful and sweet, filled with personal touches that made it clear how deeply Kevin and Claire love each other. The family was incredibly warm and made me feel like I was a part of the family from the moment I arrived! Following the ceremony, the newlyweds led their guests in a tree-planting ceremony, where each person laid down their own personal rock at the base of the tree, symbolizing the couple’s commitment to the marriage–so rad!
We had tons of fun taking family and group photos under one of the big trees on the property–I should also mention a few cute dogs kept stealing the show, literally posing for the camera! The reception included a taco-bar, featuring all homemade salsas, slow-roasted pork shoulder, and perfectly marinated chicken. Honestly it was one of the best wedding meals I’ve had in years! (Don’t tell all the other caterers).
By the time the speeches were over, it was clear to me that I was in the presence of a very special couple. Kevin and Claire are two deeply kind humans, and their love for each other shines through in everything they do. I was so honored to be a part of their day and wish them all the best as they start their lives together!
