Karyna was super easy to work with for her South Whidbey Senior Portraits. I really love capturing seniors in their element. A lot of seniors tell me they aren’t photogenic or “not used to getting their photo taken.” Unless you’ve grown up as a child model, I don’t think it’s normal to be comfortable in front of the camera. What most people need to become “photogenic” is simply a wonderful experience taking their photos. If you enjoy your photo shoot, you tend to look like you enjoyed your photo shoot, make sense? 🙂
My wife Julia is also a photographer and from time to time she will take senior photos and family photos, this is an example of one of those shoots. I love the way she captured Karyna right around sunset!
As you’ll see below, she got some great photos around the general Clinton area (Maxwelton Beach park included).
