I had a great time walking around Luther Burbank Park while shooting William’s Mercer Island Senior Portraits with him!
He did an awesome job posing; I barely even had to give him any direction. From time to time I would crack a couple jokes and make him laugh, but aside from that, he knew exactly what to do! When high school seniors are comfortable taking their photos, it makes my job easier. When they’re totally comfortable, that’s when I get the chance to capture them in their element!
William lives on Mercer Island, and mentioned he wanted to take photos at Luther Burbank Park. It’s an awesome park to grab a good mix of water-front, greenery, pretty grass mixed with trees, and some solid brick backgrounds as well.
He brought along a basketball, Varsity basketball blazer, and a few cool outfits. While looking back through these photos I was blown away by how great they turned out. A combo of things: 1) He was an absolute natural in front of the camera, and 2) Mercer Island in the summer is so dang beautiful.
