Adrienne and Espen had a much bigger wedding planned before COVID hit, so we had to improvise when capturing their Suncadia Resort Wedding Photos. So many couples have had such difficulty navigating COVID in 2020 with all the restrictions and regulations changing week to week. Adrienne/Espen had no exception—their original Suncadia wedding was supposed to be over 200 people! These two weren’t going to let COVID spoil everything for them; they wanted to get hitched either way.
They postponed their big wedding reception for the same date in 2021, but planned a much smaller wedding with immediate family only at a house at Suncadia Resort. I felt so honored when they told me about the private event–I was one of 15 people invited to this special moment!
We did the first look out in the back yard of the rental unit — what a stunning location with the beautiful pine trees in the background. The light was just right and it was nice and quiet so they got a private moment to share together. You’ll see the rest of the wedding was so special (we made sure no one had COVID going into the wedding so we could all enjoy the day together).
