Lindsay and Alex were looking for a fun photographer to capture their Rays Boathouse Wedding Photos. They actually came across my work on Google which is always flattering to me that somehow I stood out among the dozens of photographers showing up on Google wedding searches.

I always appreciate when couples see my passion for what I do and my desire to help them enjoy their wedding (and help their families/friends do so also). When you trust your wedding photographer (and your wedding photographer knows what they are doing), everything will work out for you in the end. I helped them plan a schedule that made sense for the timeline they had set-up for their wedding, and made sure we were all on the same page by the time the wedding day arrived.

There were a few logistics involved: they started getting ready at the Mediterranean Inn (we did the first look up on the rooftop deck). Then they had to see their lovely dog (who was being babysat by one of their best friends) on the way to take photos over at Golden Gardens Beach park.

It was a blast taking photos at Golden Gardens since we had created some solid buffer time to explore; we walked all the way out to the water-views and then grabbed some photos of Lindsay and Alex in the woods as well. I love how those photos turned out. After capturing family and bridal party photos at Golden Gardens, we headed over to Rays Boathouse to get ready for the ceremony, reception, and dance party.

All in all, it was a well-planned day and with the help of the lovely staff at Rays Boathouse, Alex and Lindsay’s friends and family enjoyed a fantastic wedding experience from start to finish! Thank you guys for letting me an integral part of the wedding!
