Cara and Micah are two very intentional people; it makes perfect sense how they ended up together (scroll down to see their epic JM Cellars Wedding Photos). They made sure each and every person at the wedding felt cared for. Here are some examples: Personalized name brand for each table setting, onsite caricature artist, desserts (instead of your typical wedding cake) were Cronuts (yes, that’s right, Donuts made with Croissant dough–life-changing!).
Cara/Micah’s genuine love and care was also shown by the way they included their beautiful rescue dog (Cooper) in the wedding day–can you believe how stinking cute he is (pictured below)? (The other dog participation wedding I shot in 2019 was in Santa Barbara. Click here to view!)
To top it all off, these two decided to change their last name in a beautiful act of uniqueness–a name that has a deep significance to them both: “Merak.” The definition of their name is: the appreciation of simple daily pleasures that all add up to a feeling of bliss and the sense of oneness with the universe. I am honored to know Cara and Micah, and hope you will be inspired by the following visual representation of their special day!
