After so much anticipation (3 different postponement dates), Amelia and Joe were so happily married in Anacortes. I had the joy of capturing their Anacortes Wedding Photos on a warm summer day at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and small family gathering at the Nantucket Inn near downtown Anacortes, WA.
Amelia and Joe have known each other for years, separated by distance (both working with the US Navy). After having to postpone their wedding 3 different times due to covid, they finally got tie the knot in late summer 2020. Joined by their families (and plenty of masks), they said their vows (Amelia smiled from ear to ear throughout the entire ceremony).
What a joy to capture this precious moment for these two, along with their families! I consider it an absolute honor to be invited into these sacred spaces. It is a responsibility I do not take lightly: helping people enjoy their photo experience while in the same moment celebrating the act of committing their lives to one another.
