Bailey, Tanner, and I (and their gorgeous Red golden puppy) caught the absolute best springtime weather for their San Juan Island Engagement Photos!
I met Bailey and Tanner at their friends’ wedding I shot in Hawaii right before Covid. These two are such thoughtful and caring people; I feel super fortunate to have met them and that they entrusted me to capture their engagement and wedding photos!
Extended engagement sessions are fun for me since it gives me a chance to get to know the bride and groom to be. With Bailey and Tanner, I’ll be spending the entire weekend with their families in Napa Valley next summer—why not spend a whole day on beautiful San Juan Island getting to know them better and what they are looking forward to regarding their future wedding?
We had such a blast! By 9am it was already 65 degrees and clear over at Cattle Point Lighthouse. This overlook is one of the most spectacular views I have ever seen—it almost feels like you’re in another country. We then drove up the west coast of the island and explored around at Lime Kiln State Park. Stunning water views continued to blow our minds and we had a lot of fun playing with Bodhi (their beautiful red golden) along the way.
Overall, this was one of those engagement shoots to remember; what a fun time getting to know each other better, enjoying good food (best fish and chips I’ve had = The Bait Shop) and great views! The photos turned out amazing!
