Thankful to have met these two and captured such special Freeway Park Engagement Photos for them! We met through my awesome friend and Wedding Planner Alyssa Ayala (Pacific Engagements) She introduced me via text to Tucker (the groom) and so began the plotting of this surprise proposal… He wanted to casually stroll through Freeway Park in downtown Seattle on their way to a romantic date without her even suspecting a proposal, so we planned an ideal time-frame where they would walk down, he would make her stop to look at something, then get down on one knee and make it happen.
When the time-frame approached, I was ready! I stood watch, anxiously reading on a picnic bench. I kept checking my watch every single minute, and finally I saw them come around the corner. I acted normal (with my telephoto lens down at my side), and then he pointed into the bushes. She looked a bit dumbfounded, “A squirrel?” As she turned away he got down on a knee and right then and there she knew, the whole world probably stopped for her (as it does most who are proposed to), and the rest you’ll see in the Freeway Park Engagement photos.
She just couldn’t stop staring at the diamond, wrapped around her finger! It was such a beautiful moment to witness and be a part of, thank you guys for letting me capture it!
I told you, she could NOT stop staring at the ring–so priceless!
