Alaena, Tucker, their puppy (Meeko)…
…and I had a blast of an afternoon walking around capturing their Capitol Hill Seattle Engagement Photos! I met Aleana and Tucker through my friend and talented wedding planner Alyssa (Pacific Engagements). At that time, Tucker was looking to have me capture his Surprise Proposal behind Alaena’s back—so I was absolutely ecstatic to be a part of that! (Here are Photos of the Surprise Proposal).
After experiencing the surprise proposal back in 2018,
I was honored they asked me to also shoot their engagement and wedding photos! We decided on Chophouse Row (in Capitol Hill) and Washington Park Arboretum (near the University of Washington) and the day we chose was very cold! Our ‘anti-covid’ face-masks were coming in very handy while walking around outside.
Meeko was behaving himself very well the entire time we walked around Capitol Hill; we were able to grab some very cute photos of him close-up and all three of them together. I absolutely love the super-colorful background art wall on the corner of East Pike St and 11th Ave (although recently it was covered over by some graffiti, but I guess you can’t always count on walls to stay clean around the downtown area, especially during 2020!)
Enough blabbing about this shoot.
Just scroll down and see the chemistry Tucker and Alaena have together. I am always honored to capture couples like these two who are so clearly excited to be around each other and even more excited to tie the knot in the near future!
