Miguel + Ari met me through their family (Ari\u2019s sister Whitney hired me to shoot their wedding). We had such a wonderful weekend in Puerto Rico from beach parties, family brunches, setting up the wedding, etc. Plus I got to stay at <a href=\"https:\/\/haciendasiestaalegre.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Hacienda<\/a> all weekend\u2014waking up in the middle of the Puerto Rican jungle was incredibly refreshing.<\/p>\n<p>Since becoming their \u201cdesignated family photographer,\u201d this particular weekend in Puerto Rico made me feel basically like one of the family members (not to mention Miguel is Puerto Rican so I was able to use my fluent Spanish as a way to get to know his friends\/family).<\/p>\n<p>The wedding day turned out better than any of us could have imagined. Ari\u2019s younger sister Selina planned the wedding and then acted as one of the bridesmaids (quite the tall order).
