Alyssa, like most high school seniors, told me that she was shy in front of the camera (but she did so well taking her Anacortes Senior Photos!) Honestly, I get this “I’m not photogenic” comment a lot, and I think it\u2019s completely normal, because unless you were groomed as a child-model and learned how to pose a million times before high school, you shouldn\u2019t be used to getting professional photos taken. For a lot of people, their senior photo session tends to be the first chance they get to be captured by a professional photographer.<\/p>\n
This is honestly why I love my job; it\u2019s a challenge and a joy for me to help people become comfortable with something they are either nervous or scared about. I help people see how good they look. I love showing people the photos I just took of them and seeing their reaction, \u201coh wow, I actually look really good!\u201d YES you do!<\/p>\n

\nAs you can see (by the Anacortes Senior Photos above), Alyssa had no problem once she started feeling confident and comfortable, we were able to get some amazing photos of her right around sunset at Cap Sante Park.
