I absolutely love taking Discovery Park senior photos (and Senior Photos in general). I would say most High school seniors aren’t sure what to do in front of a camera. It’s one of those times in life when you’re trying to find your grounding, yet at the same time, you’re expected to pose perfectly and get that “shining star glam shot.”
My approach with senior portraits is to make it as fun as possible. If students feel comfortable, free to be themselves, and feel like I’m actually taken an interest in their life, studies, etc–then most likely they will look as natural as possible! A simple tagline I tell high school seniors is: “You say you’re not photogenic. I’ll prove you Wrong.” Here are a bunch of senior photos taken from the last couple years (has been too long since I’ve blogged these!)
