2 years ago, I took a 3 month trip to Africa with a my friend Skiff with The Mocha Club. It was epic; absolutely living the dream.

Our trip to South Africa consisted of some serious “Dream-Living.” We were able to spend solid time with Non-Profit Organizations while also relaxing and enjoying time in the most beautiful place east of the Mississippi: Hermanus Lagoon.

We stayed in Zimbabwe two and half months into our trip. Here’s a tweet from our time there: @mochaclubexp “Our hut in Zimbabwe is crawling with large spiders and fleas are jumping everywhere. We haven’t showered in four days. Living the dream.” We slept in a grass hut, we taught a 6th grade class, we ate beef that had been sitting in room temperature for weeks, and we didn’t die. Another tweet: @mochaclubexp “Meet Claudette. http://twitpic.com/zoy6h She works with some of the orphans Mocha Club supports in Zimbabwe. She’s awesome!”
