Is there anything more charming than a destination wedding in the country? For Lis and Billy’s wedding, all the guests and wedding party traveled to Fox Hall Sporting Club, a rolling expanse of hunting grounds about an hour outside of Atlanta. The wedding day dawned cold and bright but spirits were high all around. The ceremony was held overlooking the Georgia Hills, followed by dancing and a scrumptious farm to table supper provided by Avalon Catering.
After their first date, Billy knew it was his “last first date” and that Lis was very special. Their second date was a weekend beach trip with friends. As they rode bikes down the beach they fell in love, which is why all of their paper suite items feature a tandem bike.

A cali-boy (James) fell for a southern bell (Ellen-Anne). I met this wonderful couple through a great friend of mine in Seattle. They asked me if I would be up for traveling, spending the weekend with their family & close friends, and capturing their wedding day in Fallbrook, CA. I of course responded with, “Let’s Do It!” It ended up raining on and off (in Southern California of all places), but it was such a joy-filled day shared with close friends and family members of James and Ellen-Anne.
Wow, these two are smitten. Everyone who knows them can attest, they started falling toward the end of their time at SPU together. They fell real hard. Check it out:
